The many advantages of plastic can contribute to climate protection, as the CO2 footprint of plastic packaging is usually significantly lower compared to the alternatives made of glass or metal. When it comes to environmental protection, the issue of recycling plays a crucial role. Here, it is important that plastics do not end up in the environment but are kept in circulation and recycled for as long as possible. To achieve this goal, we invest around 50 million euros a year in our recycling activities.
