ALPLA Videobot - Actions for environmental protection

We at ALPLA are committed to environmental protection. In October 2018, ALPLA signed the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment. This is an initiative led by the Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation together with the United Nations Environment Programme. In signing this Commitment, ALPLA has pledged to achieve ambitious targets like packaging solutions are to be fully recyclable and the volume of processed post-consumer recycled materials is to rise to 25 percent of total material usage. We will also invest around 50 million euros annually in recycling activities until 2025. Alongside other projects dedicated to the reuse of what's known as beach plastic, ALPLA supports environmental organisations that combat ocean pollution. Furthermore, ALPLA signed up to the Zero Pellet Loss Initiative to minimise the loss of small pieces of plastic at our plants.
